How to speed up web development under IIS?
The portal is being developed on Symfony 5. I started on an old laptop: i5, 6GB RAM, Windows 10 pro, IIS 10 on SSD. After the laptop died, I bought a new one: Ryzen 7, 16GB, Windows 10 home, IIS 10, SSD. Despite the newer and more powerful hardware, nothing has changed in terms of development: after changes in the code, the page reload speed did not increase at all, as IIS periodically crashed with an HTTP error, which was eliminated by restarting IIS, and crashes. OpenServer is installed nearby for pet projects, so everything works quickly and without the need to restart the server, but ajax requests take several seconds both there and there, even under APP_ENV=prod. Question: what, how and where, you need to configure in IIS, well, Apache, maybe in order for the site to work at least faster, maybe there are some non-obvious subtle places. And with ajax. Is it a feature of Symfony that the request is taking so long? Somewhere in the logs you can find such a long process? The web.config file has already been edited in various ways, to no avail. Thank you.
