Playing around with photo filters in my app. I downloaded a bunch from here www.jhlabs.com/ip/filters/index.html
When using the filter, the calculation takes a VERY long time, despite the fact that I use a miserable 360*360 image. The real photo from the camera does not have enough patience. How to speed up the calculation and preview of the effect? Instagram filters are applied instantly...

Write your own filter and be sure that everything is done optimally there. And it is desirable on NDK at once.
In fact - profile, see if it really slows down, or you did something wrong with it. If liba - throw out liba.
