How to speed up getting content from Webvew?

The activity has Webvew. In it, I scroll through several pages and in the code I process the loaded content through the onPageFinished event. The problem is that it takes a very long time to wait for each page to finish loading. I understand that until all external files on the page are loaded, the event does not come or something like that. It is possible to receive content through HttpURLConnection, but it does not suit me. How to speed up the process?
