How to sort posts by views and display them in the sidebar?

I've been looking for a solution all day, I don't know how to do it.
I’m trying through the WP-PostViews plugin, but there it works, as I understand it, through query_posts, and you can’t limit the content output through this function. I need to display no more than five posts.
