How to solve the problem with installing the Steam client?

The Steam client was not installed on this machine.
My actions :

Now the actual question is: What should I do, and how to solve this problem?

Earned!!! I deleted through the search all the files containing "Steam" in their name, cleaned the registry, and deleted the Valve entries (on the advice of etc. Steam). I rebooted the computer, downloaded a new installer, and everything worked!!! The poke method is on top again !!!)))
