How to solve the problem with Acronis True Image Home (backup is 104% complete)?

I have set up a daily incremental backup of the system partition to an external HDD. And it often happens that Acronis shows a figure of 104% and it hangs for quite a long time. What could be the problem?
Acronis True Image 2014 Premium build 6673
Windows 7 x64 SP1

Find an old Acronis from 2010.

To be honest, I recommend looking for other products, since acronis has become an extremely buggy and unstable product after managers had a hand in it.
