After each Firefox update, the user profile with all settings is deleted. Firefox latest version. Windows 8 64x system. How to fix it? Thanks in advance...

The profile is definitely physically deleted, or Firefox, not finding an existing profile, just creates a new one?
It seems to me that the problem is not in Firefox, but in the Windows installer. But unfamiliar with Win8.
