How to solve the problem of Cyrillic, hot buttons in Chrome under Ubuntu 16.04 via Remote Desktop?

How to solve the problem of Cyrillic, hot buttons in Chrome under Ubuntu via Remote Desktop?
I ask you not to throw stones strongly - before that I did not communicate with Linux. They gave virtual machines for free - I took it, I play. I took it from Ubuntu 16.04, rolled xfce4 there, installed tighvncserver on it, installed TightVNC on the desktop (in general, I managed to try RDS, then TeamViewer, then UltraVNC, the least complaints about TightVNC). Everything seems to work, but there are difficulties with the Russian layout. In Ubuntu itself, I couldn’t put the Russian layout (I toiled, it didn’t work out, then they asked for the password from ubuntu, then something else), but when you press Alt + Shift, the layout changes in Windows, and on the xfce4 remote table the letters are written in Russian. Everything would be fine, but if you write in Chrome, then hot buttons are pressed, for example, you press the “t” button, and Chrome will expand to full screen. I am writing this text in libreoffice - there are apparently no hot ones here.
Please tell me how to solve the problem. It is desirable in principle with the layout, or at least turn off the hot buttons in Chrome and others.
Forgot to say - I don't have password for user "ubuntu", hoster gives only private key for ssh authorization.

xfce4 has an applet for the Language Layout panel, I think. Does not require administrator rights, allows you to disable the system layout and customize your own keyboard shortcuts. Right-click on the panel and look for Add widget, or applet there - I don’t remember exactly.
On the other hand, how did you manage to install xfce if you don't have a password?
