How to solve temporary failure in name resolution problem?

I'm testing vagrant according to the manual on Habré.
I execute the code:

cd Code
composer create-project laravel/laravel Laravel --prefer-dist

after which I get

temporary failure in name resolution

which most likely indicates that the network is configured incorrectly.
How to overcome the problem?
I met solutions in the form of editing different configs, however, there is a problem here too: here I have only 1 user vagrant / vagrant. How to find the root user and its default password? So that you can edit at least something

I never set it, I googled it.
Deployed on a separate virtual? Network in bridge or nat mode?
Is the system firewall turned off?
Are DNS and machine name written in the host file in the virtual machine?
Disable ipv6?
