How to solve similar OpenServer Composer error when adding plugin to project?

Previously, I added other components and everything worked, just like I downloaded Yii2 itself normally.
Set according to the instructions of the author GIThub

php composer require --prefer-dist omnilight/yii2-shopping-cart

Actually composer writes about what to download this component. Requires an API composer plugin above the current one. And I don’t really understand how to update it. I already did
composer self-update in the project directory.

Did you do a self-update for the composer?
Update fxp-asset-plugin just in case.
And then try to install again.
All my problems were due to the assets-plugin. I ran into a problem twice, which was discussed and fixed on github literally at the same time. I had to wait for pull requests and update this plugin.
