How to solve my adaptability problem?

There is a website.
Strange things happen, if there is no information in the component, then a large space appears below the footer, when the browser is resized, it disappears. Through the inspector in the browser, I can’t select it to check where this problem comes from. Today I took a screenshot of the site and noticed that on the main page when I made a screen at the bottom there is also a gap of ~ 500px. Already scratched my head what could be the problem, maybe someone will tell you something.

This is a classic, the problem is that the footer does not stick to the bottom, this is actually not a problem, this is its normal behavior, you just need to decide how to make spacers, either to captivate the minimum height of the block with content, or to stick the footer, there are a lot of ways:
For example right there on the toaster Push the footer to the bottom of the page

if there is no information in the component, then a large space appears below the footer
so you pulled the design.
There is clearly a problem or stretch or layout.
Inspect in different browsers and in different tools - catch something and then apply the appropriate measures.
