How to solve it?

Here I came across such a problem, but I have no idea how to solve it.

(A. Kukanova) Masha makes four-letter words from the letters A, B, C, D, E, and first the vowels in the word should be in alphabetical order, then the consonants in reverse alphabetical order. Letters may be repeated. A word can consist of vowels or only consonants. An example of a suitable AAEDC word.
How many different words can Masha make.

Ps I don’t understand why there are 5 letters in the Example of a suitable word when a word is made up of 4. Either the compiler got stoned or I got stoned and did not understand anything.

@Dddjf

four-letter words from letters A,B,C,D,E

Letters may be repeated.

An example of a suitable AAEDC word.

Apparently, they mean words where 4 different letters are used. Therefore, the word AAEDC is appropriate (it has exactly 4 different letters).
The task is kind of tricky. Answer: infinitely many since AEDC, AAEDC, AAAEDC, AAAAEDC,...
