How to solve "AppStore: Missing App Icon..."?

We develop the application and build it using PhoneGap Build. Upload to the AppStore via XCode -> Application Loader.
But recently, the AppStore has stopped eating our app, giving an error:
"ITMS-90704: Missing App Icon - An app icon measuring 1024 by 1024 pixels in PNG format must be included in the Asset Catalog of apps built for iOS, iPadOS, or watchOS . Without this icon, apps cannot be submitted for review. For details, see https://developer.apple.com/ios/human-interface-gu... "
Icons and project configuration have not been touched since the previous release. When trying to re-download previous builds that were successfully accepted by the AppStore before, we get exactly the same error.
The feeling that something has changed in the AppStore and where to dig is not yet clear.

Now the 1024x1024 icon is stored in the . If you do not have it in the icon pack (usually at the bottom), then delete the pack and re-create it, filling in all the icons. In the screenshot, the one you need is at the very bottom - AppStore iOS 1024pt
To create a new pack , click on the plus at the bottom and select the following item:
Previously unloaded without error, because the icon was uploaded manually to AppStoreConnect.
