How to sign a google play app?

I signed the application by typing in the console >keytool -genkey
-alias <alias> -keystore <name>.keystore" -validity 10000 The application was created in the

SDK - as far as I know, there is no key generator there. Tell me how to sign the application.

It's not a signature, it's a key creation. The application is signed when you make a build from the crown, there in the drop-down menu you choose which key to sign.
Maybe he just messed up the key?
