How to show images from VKontakte in firefox?

Hello.
There is a task - to show on the site a large number of images from VKontakte. And there are no problems with this in all browsers except firefox.
Recently, the tracking protection mode has been enabled by default in it, and if the picture is requested not from VK itself, then firefox blocks the request.
How it is possible to bypass it? There is an option to proxy all requests through the script, downloading the image by the server and giving it on the fly, but this will not be fast, the option with caching the downloaded on the server will quickly eat up space.
I also thought, maybe you can park the domain on the IP cdn of the VK and insert images through this domain, but the VK cdn does not have a default domain when requested by IP. So the picture will not be given.
What other reasonable options are there to get around firefox restrictions?
