Shoot in slowmo, for example 240 fps.
On editing , you speed up 8 times (240/30) times, you get a terrible speed and a cool frame rate.
You need hardware support, where it is, the manufacturer gives the corresponding button in the built-in video recording application.
In order for third-party applications to work, the camera api with this feature must be supported on the smartphone, and unfortunately it is not profitable for manufacturers to enable this support.
Where the hardware allows but there is no support in the software, look for the appropriate modifications (device root, patches) with camera api 2.0 then Google pixel applications will work for this.
Slowmo is a feature that can divide smartphones into segments (cheap / medium / expensive), no manufacturer has any desire to make these lines physically, everyone wants only software editing, the same piece of hardware is produced and sold at different prices with different versions of software.
