How to shadow copy?

Good day everyone. I want to create a backup copy of the registry files in my program, after reading, I came to the conclusion that the only way is Shadow copy. The question is actually about him, I wrote the code according to this manual and I get a stable error on IVssBackupComponents::InitialForBackup error 0x80042302. I collect the program under x64 and I launch accordingly. I don't know what could be the reason. Can anyone come across? Windows 8.1 x64, VS2013
