How to setup TrackPoint on Thinkpad x1 carbon 6th gen in Ubuntu 20.04?
Hey everyone, I've got
the following problem: On a Thinkpad x1 carbon 6th gen laptop, I updated Ubuntu Linux to version 20.04 and started having an adventure with the touchpad and trackpad randomly falling off after the device wakes up from deep sleep.
Once upon a time on past ubunts, I treated this in fairly standard ways, such as adding a wakeup script that reboots the touchpad after a dipslip, etc. ( https://github.com/bes-dev/thinkpad_x1_carbon_6th_... ) but for 20.04 it doesn't work. Rather, it worked for the touchpad and it seemed to work stably after waking up, but the trackpoint with the buttons adjacent to it periodically still falls off and nothing helps. Maybe someone has already encountered this problem and has a ready recipe for a solution?

Lenova in general does not like Linux much.
