How to setup indexer in wordpress directory?

The essence of the problem:
I am making a catalog for the sale of cars. A custom record type has been made - "Cars", it has custom fields - "car brand, car model, etc." I did everything through the Jetengine and ACF plugins. At the stage of creating filters (using the JetSmartFilters plugin), I ran into a problem - when creating a filter, there is an option to index it (display the number of records, hide if there are no records, etc.) and now it does not work, i.e. select the option to display the number of records, it shows that there are 0 of them, but the filter works and shows the necessary records (for example, it filters by brand BMW), but still shows that there are 0 of them.
I understand that I do everything through crutch plugins, but there are no other options yet. Thank you all for your help.
