Please tell me instructions (in English) for setting up an e-mail server using free software with the ability to send and receive letters via the Internet from external networks. I set up hMailServer without any problems, but it only works on the local network, for example, letters are not sent to yandex and you cannot receive them from there.

To set up a full-fledged mail server, you need at least 2 things - a static white ip address with a reverse DNS record written on it, and the corresponding mx records in your domain's DNS. It won't work without this. Not at all, not at all.
