How to set up tp-link for a server?

Set up Debian 8 and set a static ip.
I wrote something similar in /etc/network/interfaces
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.1.35
gateway 192.168.1.1
netmask 255.255.255.0
But I can't access debian via SSH.
I logged in from local, everything is fine.
What to register in the router. There are advanced settings, like there you need to do something.
Or DHCP.
How to add so that SSH is available externally?

it is much easier to register statics on the router so that the server picks it up, also write dns in /etc/resolv.conf - if you don’t want to blame everything on tp-link
