How to set up Termux for learning?

Due to some circumstances, I will be forced to be at home less and less, as I get a job (wow!). But now it’s not about that, where I’ll be hacking I will have a lot of time, at least for reading books, but I would also like to code. I have two IDEs for the two languages I need and also a text editor for Lua and LÖVE. Perversions? Come on, I'm much more comfortable coding shit in the editor on my way home from university than just sitting and staring out the window. There is also a seven-inch tablet on which I turn it all around, everything is enough for my tasks, except for a few things - git and bash, and the terminal itself would also not hurt. To do this, I chose Termux + Hacker's Keyboard, but I still did not understand how to configure this terminal for convenient (it is clear that it will not be like on a PC) work in it. How to set up VIM directly for this terminal? Are there people here who dealt with him? I would like to know more about him.
Interested in something like this:

But what's the problem to stir up a simple VDS and connect to it from a tablet?
There will be little traffic to work in the console, it’s not too demanding on speed, but you can install and configure everything you need - both git and bash.
