How to set up speakers in Linux?

Hello. The computer does not see the connected speakers, only the SPDIF interface. When VIA HD Audio VDesk is installed, everything is fine, but when not, I have to remove / install the cords to work. At first I thought that because of the cords, but Windows with VIA HD Audio VDesk work fine. The problem is that there is no VIA driver for Linux (Antergos x64). What to do?

does not see not the speakers, but the device that produces sound on them.

The problem is that there is no VIA driver for Linux (Antergos x64)

without a driver, the OS cannot work with this device. What to do? Find the right one by trial and error.
