How to set up sending mail in MS SQL in case of failure when executing a maintenance plan?
There is Ms SQL Server 2005. Service plans (backup bases) are configured in it. Also configured to send messages to the mail with the results of the plan. And how to make the letter come only in case of failure when executing the maintenance plan?

Setting up Database Mail in MS SQL Server 2005 and later.
I leave the third column unchanged - it says “When the job fails”, i.e. I will only receive notifications if the job fails. However, there you can choose two more options - when the task completes successfully, or when the task completes at least somehow - with an error, or without errors.
