How to set up QtCreator 5.2.0 for Windows 7 64-bit Desktop?
Good day)
I recently downloaded QtC from here Qt 5.2.0 for Windows 64-bit (VS 2012, OpenGL, 589 MB) ← this version. And when I made a test project, I started to compile it, I got an error that the compiler was not selected in the settings. In general, I encountered this program for the first time (just a beginner) and setting it all up for me is a huge challenge. I climbed through various forums, well, without asking questions, and the goal was to find similar problems with other users, and just solve my problems with an example. But not everything turned out to be so simple. Actually, in order not to spend more time on this, since now I am studying C ++ and at the same time trying to set up or solve a problem in general with QtCreator, I decided to turn to you - QtC users and Habrovtsy for compatibility.
In general, what I understood:
1) QtC does not have its own compiler, that is, it needs an additional environment like msvs20**(10,12,13) with its own compiler.
2) QtCreator needs settings that I don't know much about.
3) I downloaded an unassembled version of the program, although, probably, it was possible to download an already assembled one.
4) Based on the 3rd point, I will have to connect (assemble) a few more components in addition to the compiler, so that the program (IDE) works as it should.
I downloaded: msvs2013 desktop for windows , I read that you need to download the SDK for windowsdownload and I downloaded for the corresponding Windows (7), for some reason I downloaded CMake, maybe it was in some folder, but it was not set in the settings
Questions:
1) What am I wrong about? Explain.
2) What do I need to collect or download (if I can link)? Perhaps it makes sense to just delete everything that I downloaded and download the normal version?
3) In addition to what needs to be downloaded, how to set it up? Yes, I realized that you need to find the path to the file, or it will be determined by itself (automatically). Mb something else important when setting up will need to be done?
4) Why is CMake used? Do I already have it or do I need to download it separately?
Here are pictures (tabs with parameters) from my settings, if necessary:
"Basic"
"Sets"
"Qt profiles"
"Compilers"
"Debuggers"
"CMake"
There is nothing new in general.
PS I hope for your loyalty to the fact that I can't do it myself =)

Qt 5.2.0 for Windows 64-bit (VS 2012, OpenGL, 589 MB) : VS 2012 hints at the compiler version. And there was a similar question recently, but under Linux ...
Better download assemblies under MinGw, everything is included in the kit, both the compiler and the configured QtCreator
