How to set up profile photos in Sharepoint?

Tell me how to configure the import of user profile photo images from ACTIVE DIRECTORY to SHAREPOINT ???
Did everything according to the instructions .
MySites - work and are created
User Profile Service - configured and running.
Synchronization - works and pulls profiles to the portal.
However, the portal/User%20Photos/Profile%20Pictures folder is completely empty and photos and users are not displayed on the portal, instead of them there are stubs. I've already broken my whole head: there is a photo in the link, there is a photo in the mail, and a cookie on the portal.

D_mi_try , Maxim is right. Did the same thing a long time ago. In general, you have synchronization policies in the ball, where you must specify which parameters to synchronize. By default, thumbnailPhoto does not map to a profile picture.
Now it's hard to remember, but in my opinion there were settings like: "Management of service applications", there will be "management of the profile service". There will be an item "People" or contacts, it will have "Manage user properties". Click change and already there you set up a comparison of the properties of Spheres and AD. Here, in my opinion, the mapping you need is indicated. You will need to specify that the thumbnailPhoto in AD is the Profile Picture in the ball..

There are three subtle points that are poorly covered in these instructions:
1) the My Site host collection must be pre-configured and they must be bound to the User Profile service
2) in update-spprofilephotostore, the mysitehostlocation parameter must be specified as the My Site Host, not the root site (for example http://yoursite/MySites/ )
3) update-spprofilephotostore must be run from the farm account and ps from the admin (or the dance with a tambourine with the distribution of rights must first be performed).
