How to set up one of the above editors for PHP development?
Tell me which of the above (vscode, atom, st) can be configured normally for php and which specific plugins to take? I've tried them all, but I couldn't get a sane autocomplete. To begin with, they basically do not see the files loaded by autoload through the composer. Yes, and auto-completion is very weak. I wrote in phpstorm and I think it is the best (like the rest of JetBrains IDE), but it is very slow and paid. I would like to switch to the editor from the above, but get at least approximately the same functionality. Of course, I understand that it is strange to compare IDEs and editors, but in my opinion these modern editors are already quite close to IDEs in principle ... In any case, for some languages there is very good support there. But with php everything is sad... :c
PS By the way, here's another oddity - PHP plugins in vscode all ask for PHP 7! But I write (so it is necessary) on php 5.6. (=_=)
UPD. I ask you not to write such answers as those below. I need a specific answer on how to set up and what plugins to put, not what to put. The topic is not for holivar - which is better IDE or editor. A topic for finding out in which of the listed editors PHP support is better and what plugins are needed. And these are not answers.
