How to set up nginx on a virtual Ubuntu along with an SSL certificate?

Ubuntu Server with nginx+php-fpm+sql hangs on the virtualbox
, virtual hosts are configured, on the physical machine (mac) redirection to /etc/hosts
recently, browsers began to swear at Your connection is not private blah blah blah.

made a self-signed ssl certificate, but essesno its brazury does not eat.

Please tell me how can I solve this problem? I don’t really want to lift it all on a physical machine. virtual machine is much more convenient to work with.

Add certificate to browser exceptions.
