How to set up mail through a proxy in giltab configs?

Good evening, there is a server that does not have internet access, except for yum. I registered a proxy in the yum config and it can communicate with the outside world. The server is running gitlab ce . The config contains mail that cannot connect to the Internet without a proxy. Is it possible, similarly to yum, to register a proxy server somewhere, through which the gitlab will reach the mail and send notifications?

The proxy is HTTP. Do you have HTTP mail?

You can set up on the same server with a proxy smtp relay - and send emails through it.
