There are two domains domain.ru and domain.com
on domain.com registered MX on gmail and mail works there.

If you are talking about google apps, then there are alias domains, you just need to add an alias to your domain.

You need to connect a google apps account for webmasters for the domain.ru domain too and register MX records there.
In the gmail interface, set up redirection from this mail to domain.com
You can do without Google, yandex and mail.ru seem to give mail for the domain for free.
You can have your own configured mail server and register the necessary MX in the domain DNS, redirection in the server config.

google apps is free (I added it a long time ago, when it was still possible) and is available only on domain.com,
but I don’t see such a need to buy for domain.ru
