How to set up Jelastic for high load PHP applications?
At the moment, there is a site whose attendance is out of control. Attendance per minute is about 100-150 people and Apache, of which 2 are included there, simply choke. Worth wordpress.
The operations proposed here were carried out - habrahabr.ru/company/infobox/blog/196816
The load has fallen, but the site slows down hard and periodically falls. It became clear from the logs that it was necessary to increase MaxClients, which was done, but the load is still large and Apache did not help much.
The subtlety of Jelastic is that it uses nginx as a balancer and at the same time nothing is clear in the settings, but experimenting now and dropping the server for a long time is more expensive for yourself. Having turned on the standard caching settings, nginx began to incorrectly display the site itself, which as a result lined up in a column and all markup disappeared, etc. + The site continued to work with interruptions in access.
Disabled caching and the load on Apache increased again.
The question is:
Who has come across and worked with Jelastic and configured Nginx to return statics and caching? By default, nginx eats 1 cloudlet, and even in caching mode with such a load, it does not go beyond 1 cloudlet, which means it does not work in essence. If you did not line up, but faced a high load, then how did you extinguish it?
Thanks in advance

It would be nice if you also provided the configuration of virtual machines (limits on memory, processor), as well as the apache / nginx config.
install the plugin to cache total super cache in your wordpress
if there is not much dynamics there, your load will drop to zero almost
