I inherited a site on InstantCMS v2.2.1. It came to sending mail from the site - feedback from users. Does not work! Yesterday that just did not try, all sorts of settings and does not work. For some reason it worked for the previous owner. Perhaps there is some other way to communicate with users, simpler?

What is the name of the widget? Have you looked at the server logs? If there are no errors in the apache logs when sending, then you need to look at the logs of the mail server that you have installed
