How to set up IDE for Java if JDK is installed elsewhere?
I can't compile code in IDE. Neither Eclipse nor Intellij. I think this is due to the fact that I installed the JDK on the D drive. And for the IDE it is by default on the C:\Program Files drive... Although this is just my guess. Here are the skins. By the way, there were such problems with C ++ on CLion.

in short, I was just a dumb shit and just did not understand java. Just look at Java tutorials))
Good afternoon.
What difference does it make where the jdk is installed. In the IDE settings, you can specify the path to the desired version.
Also check if your paths are set in the "Environment Variables" section
