How to set up heartbeat\keepalived?
How to set up heartbeat\keepalived under Linux (ubunta) so that monitoring goes over eth1 (local network), and in case of unavailability raises the eth0 interface.
Available:
2 VPS (vps-1, vps-1-1)
2 local ips (vps-1 > eth 1 = 10.0.0.100, vps-1-1 > eth 1 = 10.0.0.101)
1 external ip (eth0 > xxx .xxx.xxx.xxx)
Is this even possible?

As I understand it, it is necessary to "share" one white IP address to 2 VPS, and if one VPS falls, the white IP migrates to another? If we are talking about this, then yes - this is possible to do, only I solved this problem using ucarp. If the task is not to raise the cluster and organize load balancing, but only high availability is needed, I recommend looking towards ucarp/vrrpd.
