How to set up Google Analytics to track mobile traffic?
Our project has a main domain and a subdomain for mobile traffic "m." Visits from devices with a screen resolution of less than 1024x768 are automatically redirected to mobile versions of pages on the “m.” subdomain.
We want to see general analytics for the project including (regular + mobile traffic), so we put the same GA code on regular and mobile pages. At the same time, traffic analytics from the "m." want to see in a separate profile. Most likely, it is possible to set a filter to take into account only traffic from a subdomain, but it was not possible to figure it out on our own.
Anyone who has experienced this, please let me know. how did you decide?
