Installed joomla 3
In the settings of joomla 3 set:
Checked the box - log in to the server.
Specified login
Specified password
Set smtp protocol
Encryption SSL
Server smtp.yandex.ru
Port 465
In the settings of the mail itself, I put all the checkmarks to allow sending letters via smtp
However, letters do not come.
I changed the settings to mail from nic.ru and everything worked fine, letters come instantly, returned to Yandex and everything is dull again.
What could be the problem?

I think it's about SSL. You either do not have a certificate on the server, or Yandex does not like it.
