How to set up debugging in phpstrom + lamp?

If I have lamp installed with php version 7.4.3 then can I work with the debugger in phpstrom which only supports php 7.2, will the code in phpstorm work?
If so, how to set up debugging in phpstrom + lamp, I tried to do this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3idASlzGTg4 . It seems like debugging starts, but after the first line, when you press f7,f8 (it doesn't matter), it just exits and loses local variables (in Variables), but writes that it supposedly still works.
