How to set up autocomplete in Eclipse without having to press Ctrl+Space?
Good afternoon.
Unfortunately I didn't find a solution. In the settings of the Window->Preferences->C/C++->Editor->Content Assist->Auto-Activation tab, there is no longer any. What can be done ? I just want the hints to be displayed automatically. As I read on one of the forums, this was done due to performance issues on large projects. But can searching for similar strings in files be a problem with modern technology?
Thank you.

I also asked myself this question recently. Before that, I got used to IDEA, which somehow intuitively shows and prompts, put Eclipse (also for pluses, by the way), and suffered a lot that it does not complement right away, but requires some kind of body movements. Haven't found a solution yet.
