How to set up Asteroid for Asterisk?

"Inherited" was the Asteroid device - a bank of channels for 30 FXS ports.
I can not configure this device to work with PBX. PBX - server with FreePBX Distro Stable-6.12.65 x64 distribution.
Actually what is the algorithm of actions:
1) Connected the device to the server.
2) Configured the MAC, or rather, everything was in default on it.
3) I tried to work with the native (from the distribution kit) DAHDI driver . As a result, dahdi-tool shows me the coveted OK, dst mac appeared on the asteroid. In FreePBX , the device also appeared in the DAHDI Config module . Naturally, after a reboot, everything disappears.
4) Downloaded the DAHDI assembly from the Parabel website(I tried version 2.9.2.3, as well as separately version 2.10 from the archive). I did everything according to the guide, but first I deleted my native dahdi-linux and dahdi-tools .
5) Stopped at a step

When creating or modifying a configuration file, you must run the conf file, which will launch the utility (interpreter) tdmox_genconf . The tdmox_genconf utility will generate a low-level configuration in a directory like /etc/dahdi/tdmox/span-N .

The span-1 folder has appeared, but what's next? The device does not appear in either dahdi-tool or FreePBX . Additionally, an error occurred during the installation of the ./dahdi_tdmox/patches/freepbx-2.11/ ./patch.sh driver
The text leading up to this was:
--------------------------
|--- freepbx-2.11.orig/etc/init.d/ dahdi 2014-02-05 15:06:33.000000000 -0700
|+++ freepbx-2.11.vm/etc/init.d/dahdi 2014-05-08 01:34:55.000000000 -0700
-------- ------------------
File to patch:

By the way, I looked at /etc/init.d - there is no dahdi script at all. At the same time, if you slip system.conf , then dahdi-tool sees the asteroid, i.e. the library itself seems to have risen.
It is also not very clear how to assign phone numbers to ports in FreePBX ?
I would be glad for any advice, tk. the first time I configure aster not for SIP.
