How to set up a transition in the local network by domain name?

Hello! There are several virtual machines in NAT: local hosting, Windows and ubuntu (jira on it).
pfsense acts as a firewall. I organized access from the Internet as follows: nginx (on the hosting) listens on port 80, and then, depending on the subdomain or url, redirects to the local ip on the network. But how can I organize the same on the local network so that I can log in to jira from Windows, for example? I figured out that it's possible with squid, but I don't know how...
Thanks in advance!

Or write the names in the hosts file of each machine, if there are few hosts, there will be no changes on them, and you don’t want to configure the dns server, for example.
