How to set up a sendmail + AD link?
There is a mail server on linux (smtp - sendmail; pop, imap - dovecot). I'm trying to authenticate with AD.
Dovecot works, authentication passes (kerberos), after the first user authentication, a mailbox is created. But when sendmail tries to deliver mail, it sees that there is no such user in the system and does a whack (User unknown), i.e. when creating a user in AD, you need to create a user on the mail server.
Maybe someone did something similar? Tell me how best to do this?

Made on FreeBSD. I did not find anything better than to enter a machine into a domain using samba. I don’t remember on the move which manual, but you can find it on Google. The first thing I came across was FreeBSD + Samba 3.4.8 + authorization in AD . But it's better to replace Sendmail with Exim or Postfix, they can work with LDAP.
