How to set up a DNS server for your addresses?
I want to set up DNS on my VPS (Ubuntu 14.04 ). What I need is that DNS took IP addresses from DNS'a 8.8.8.8, but took some from the config file.
Those. I will have the address example.ru in the config, and it will not resolve to the address that will give 8.8.8.8 , but to my IP, which I will specify.
Roughly speaking, I want to make a DNS server so that I can set this DNS server as the main one on OTHER MACHINES!

there has always been a hosts file for such purposes.
UPD. because it doesn’t reach us from 1 time. to set the DNS server on the network by default, you need to specify your DNS server(s) on the DHCP server.
