I am a beginner in php and wp. Before that, I had some experience in node-based development and deployment, and everything was very convenient there, literally with one command in the console I sent local changes to the working server.
I'll try to clarify the question. I have now put up a working demo site on an Amazon instance, Ubuntu 14.04. How can I set up the environment and the deployment process so that I can conveniently update and change the same site locally and then send the changes to the production server without any problems and with a minimum of dancing with a tambourine? There is only one wish - it is necessary to do without FTP.
What options do I actually have? How do people work? I can't seem to find the right way to work.
