How to set GOPATH for different folders?

Just sat down to learn Go. And immediately a question.
I have only one Projects folder on my computer and there are subfolders of my various projects in it: sites and desktop applications and PL are also different for each. So convenient.
And it turns out that I have to constantly redefine GOPATH when working with each project on Go?
Or is the whole idea bad form?

Not this way. GOPATH contains all sorts of additional libraries installed by go get. The root directory of your project can be anything, including those outside the GOPATH.
