How to set db connection timeout?

Hello everyone
Tell me how to set a timeout for a connection to the database? that is, for example, the ACCESS EXCLUSIVE sign is blocked by a lock, and the flash tries to make a select and the request falls off with a 504 code (the jinx returns)
the SQLALCHEMY_POOL_TIMEOUT parameter does not help for some reason :(
