How to set active controller for UITabBarController?
Good day! There is a UITabBarController with 5 controllers inside. You need to make these 5 tabs inactive, and show some left controller that is not included in the group of these tabs below.
It comes to mind to add a sixth tab and somehow hide it. Thank you in advance!

If you add, then you can’t hide it in any way.
IMHO, this is more of a UX issue.
If for the implementation of the interface it is necessary to fence "damn and a bow from the side" (and only this comes to mind in response to your question), then rather the interface is gaudy.
Well, on the topic - do a custom tabbar controller and show what you want.
