How to serge internal and LDAP users in JIRA?
After adding a new LDAP.
Difficulties arose for users who previously logged into the service using an internal login.
When switching to LDAP, we would like to receive a full merge of information on bugs, comments, time spent from an internal JIRA account.
The database is external and runs on Postgresql.

Make sure that users have the same logins. In this case, we simply switch the User Directories priorities and that's it.
If the users are different, temporarily disable the new database and rename the old users. Be aware of possible issues with potential loss of group membership.
I had a similar problem - switching from the departmental LDAP server to the central LDAP server, everything went OK except for a group of users whose logins were different.
Cured by renaming users.
