How to send messages using the MAP protocol?

There is an application that determines the location of a cellular subscriber. At the moment, the application takes information from the HLR using mml commands. I want to make the application communicate with the MSC / VLR via the MAP protocol. Roughly understood that you need to send UPDATE_LOCATION_ REQUEST to MSC / VLR. Raised the link using Restcomm jSS7. And most likely you need to raise the http server so that the application throws a GET request on it. The difficulty lies in the fact that it is not clear how to send a request to the MSC/VLR via the MAP protocol. Tell me what are the solutions, I do not know which way to dig. The application is written in C, Restcomm jSS7 in Java.

Here he is, this evil man, shitting in SS7)
No, but seriously ...
Well, firstly, I would look in the direction of Any-Time-Interrogation
With the help of Update Location, the subscriber will generally be knocked out of the network.
No, if the task is to make a Man-In-The-Middle to intercept calls and messages, then the direction is right, but then you have to write your own implementation of MSC, and, judging by the question, there are problems here)
Secondly...
jSS7 is it's a library. No, there are, of course, examples of use - but they are only examples.
It is necessary to write a normal application in Java with an external API - at least REST, at least SOAP, which is more convenient.
Of course, there is no free solution to a specific problem out of the box in nature.
By the way, there is still to be beaten out of the MSS / STP specialist with connection parameters: ip-addresses, PC, GT - that's another entertainment)
