How to send messages to a pytgbotapi channel?

There is a bot for food delivery, order notifications need to be delivered to the channel (chat id changes, and in order not to lose orders, such a decision was made), but for security, the channel must be closed, but how to send messages to the channel? if you just take id(-1001*****100), then the bot crashes because there is no such chat. I already decided, I forgot to turn off the privacy mode of the bot in botfather

Because the bot is not a member of it, or there really is no such channel. This is the first time I've heard of this library.
