Also, I don't understand what are your problems with working with the API through PHP. Are you sure you are passing the correct entry ID to the method? The ID must be in the format 12345_5432, where 12345 is the profile ID and 5432 is the post ID. If records need to be retrieved from a group, then the group ID is specified as negative, for example -76421_5432.
